Optimize the portfolio of multitude applications
and IT infrastructures assets across a global telecom multinational firm. Align
IT strategy with the business strategy, help increase revenue, reduce costs and
cycle time to deliver significant value to the global clients through client's
multitude of products and services.
Result:
A portfolio optimization model that took all the
business lines of the Telecom, across all geographic regions and made an
assessment of each IT assets impact on the revenue, cost or quality of service
to the customers. Based on the evaluation, the model suggested a prioritization
scheme on which IT assets made the most contribution to the firm in each of the
three areas- revenue, cost and quality of service.
